• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

Greetings!

Hi, I'm Sarah from Chester, UK and I write children's fiction. I've finished a PB and CB manuscript (but haven't managed to land an agent with either of those (I did win a Pop Up Submission session with the CB though - thanks, Pete!)) and am currently polishing an MG book through the Writementor summer mentorship program. I'm a primary TA and have a 12yo son so I love reading all things kidlit and even have my own Mrs Wynne's Little Library at school to share the books I've bought and enjoyed with the kids.

Hello @SarahW

A very warm welcome to Litopia. Hope you enjoy it. Here's a good link to point out a few of the key areas of activity.
How-to Guide
If you need any further help getting around the colony, then please send me a PM and I’ll be happy to assist if I can.
