Cracking story. Horror. A beautiful boy, agile as a gazelle, very much physical, now physically destroyed. A wife with nerves of steel. Reclamation of joy. All the really 'big' stuff.
 
The director, Andy Serkis, isn't he the one who did the motion acting for Smeegal/Gollum in LOTR and also for King Kong in the most recent of the the films? I didn't know he'd started directing now.
