• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

    • Don't give offence
    • Don't take offence

We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

Yes, this is true. I was sure someone would put it in, but I guess there's a few in the book club who have already read it, so doesn't really make sense.

That said, I HIGHLY recommend this series: Dungeon Crawler Carl. It will become your salvation against a world gone mad. The audio book is definitely the way to go.

I would love to participate, but at the end of the day, there's only so many things other than writing I can pack in without accepting that I'm avoiding writing. This is the year I finish my book. Come hell or high book clubs. However, I might drop in to say hey now and then because I do love this book club.
