At the same time, sculptor Carli Dawes faces a crisis of purpose when she discovers that the Collective seems to be actively pushing back against some of the freedoms she holds dear and that fighting for those freedoms will come at great personal cost.

I see on Amazon that the reading age is set for 13-18 years. Is that intentional? The blurb doesn't sound YA to me.
