Again, found this on FB: Literary Fiction Publisher Fairlight Books - About Us

What interests me about this outfit is:
1) they seem to recognise that there is a lot of 'me-too' fiction being published that really isn't great, and readers find it hard to discover good new work; and
2) the management team doesn't seem to be from the publishing industry...which could be good or bad, depending on whether they have enough about to them to make something happen without [presumably] the normal set of mutual back-scratching contacts.
 
Must admit, I hope they can shake things up a bit. I suspect it will come down to whether they can get books on shop shelves and titles in people's minds. Market reach and marketing.
