Litopians! Rise up and congregate! In July there are nearly three dozen writing conferences that span the country from one coast to the other. There are conferences that focus on the craft of writing, pitch conferences with agents and editors, and retreats for those who just need to get away. Attending a writing conference is one of the best things you can do for your career. I highly recommend them. (I only include writing conferences in the US on my list. But there are many held all over the world. Check the Writing Conferences tab on my blog for links to sites that list worldwide conferences.)
