Now that must be a great feeling!! :) Many congratulations! May I ask, was your story spotted by a compiler, or was there a call for anthology submissions which you responded to?

You got there on merit then. Some anthologies I have seen, that were not based on a submissions call, show a suspiciously close relationship between editor and authors ... e.g. same creative writing course, or same geographical location, or overlap in employment, etc. Am I cynical? Er -- yes.

Have to admit at least one of the editors and I both live in the Bay Area but we've not met, in person, yet. The call for submissions went out through Sisters in Crime, an organization I heartily recommend to other mystery writers - female or otherwise. There are now "brothers" in the organization, too.
