• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

I haven't been on Twitter the last few days, as I see that comments get left on tweets, though haven't been able to work out how to view them.

Welcome to Twitter. I have used Twitter for many years both personally and professionally. Don't expect too much from it, but a presence on Twitter is useful to have. By all means follow me - I follow back! @dcnewrick

I have just set up an account The Way of the Guinea Pig: @way_pig
Anyone else on Twitter? I'm not sure how to make use of it, yet, and am looking for creatives to mutually follow.
@The_Hepsta, @cf_LeBars and @Geraldine3875 have all seen you on there, RG :)

Can anyone please tell me how to view comments? I can see how to leave a comment, but not how to read any. I don't recall it being any big deal when i last looked at Twitter years ago, so they must have changed it. I haven't bothered posting lately, because if anyone comments, I can't see it, just a number.

If you see a tweet that has a number underneath it against a speech bubble that is telling you how many comments there are. To see the actual comments click over the tweet itself (avoid any embedded links in the tweet) and the tweet will open in your window/device and you can see the comments underneath the original tweet.

Hope this helps.

@TerriStorms1 is my twitter there. I'm not super active, but sometimes I do find some interesting things on there.

Twitter takes up a huge amount of time, but hopefully a means to an end as it is a way to engage with like-minded people and work out how successful your brand is :p

Sure. I'll follow you. I have certain sources I like on Twitter for current events and also enjoy the #WritingCommunity. Maybe check out the various Pitch Parties on Twitter as well. @prairiewind46 I've just followed many of you above. Hope to get to everyone today. Feel free to follow me and I'll follow you back!
