Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.
This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.
Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…
We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

I hope one day people will be asking what's your favourite Elemon?
Well I have a lot of work to do in that regard, I see.
Elemons are creatures from my games/books. AKA elements personified.

Talk about hijacking your thread!
Wow, elemons, I get it, much like pokemons, but with actual real properties, not made up ones
That's it! Except in Pokemon the 'mon' stands for monster right? i.e. pocket monster...am I remembering right?
The mon in Elemon is the monolith they were created from. Half made-up
Yes, pocket monster, monolith implies something that cannot be divided? unitary?
It's the fictional reference to the books i.e. a strange structure at the core of TUP (The Unnamed Planet) with special properties.
It looks like you have put a lot of effort into this, do you have a website I can read more about?
No! You stole mine! I don't know many pokemon (been quite a few years since I played that), but Mew 2 was my first and favorite holographic card. I was so badass.Because absolute power never hurt anyone.
Likewise with Emu, I invented dozens of my own Pokémon when I wrote books about them and would much sooner go with my awesome creations, all long gone now in the Great Computer Crash of 2005, so I'll let them rest in peace. And I could barely accept Pokémon 152-250, so I will stick to the "real" 151 Pokémon. God knows how many there are now.
I have to know.
JESUS!! SEVEN HUNDRED-EIGHTEEN?!!!
Nothing is sacred.

Thank you. You are most kind.A moment of silence for the Great Computer Crash of 2005.
Good choice...Gengar!!
Holy crap... I can't remember my team, off the top of my head... it's been about 14, 15 years...I can't choose one. I just can't. My HeartGold team were my buddies. I had so much fun on that game.
Golem, Typhlosion, Zapdos, Charizard (shiny), Dragonair, and Arbok!
Ponyta —> Rapidash. That was one of the ones I liked.Though Farfetch'd is my favourite, I have a love for Vulpix, Oddish and, oh I have forgotten the name, dang nab it!
The fire horse from the first 51, if you can supply me the name.

Original 151 — I'm your man. The next 600-and-some? Not so much. That's the one! Thanks Jason, somehow I knew you'd know it
