I ran across this blog today--The Writer's Guide to Weapons. I suspect the crime writers here already know about this one, but it was new to me. The guy's obviously a bit of an odd bat (selling coffee and writing gloves alongside his books...), but the info is good (I suppose, though to be fair, I've got no idea if he's just making it all up. He was a crime journalist though, so there is that.)
