It was no sexy lamp in fishnet-but it was a major award. One night in a 5 star hotel. Flights in to Charles De Gaulle airport on Aer Lingus. Wine and Brunch on the terrace. Lots of little cheesy, shrimpy, buttery, flakey things. Three pm lunch at Arts and Metier. Four hours front row at track events. Back to the hotel and a midnight supper with wine flowing at every turn.

What I could capture from my seat. There was a great atmosphere in the stadium-marred only by someone deciding that women don't need toilet seats. Maybe for security but they were all removed.
