What’s happening immediately
As part of this transition, we’ve built a brand new à la carte membership system that gives you far more flexibility than ever before.
Instead of a one-size-fits-all membership, you’ll soon be able to pick and choose exactly the features you need — whether that’s newsletter tools, podcast hosting, a bookshop, and more.
I think you'll really like it — and I think you'll appreciate only paying for what you need and use.

What does this mean for you?
- If you're a free member:
Nothing changes right now. When you're ready to add features, you’ll find them on our new Pricing page, where you can subscribe to exactly what you need.
- If you're a paid member (paying by card):
Your subscription continues without interruption. You won’t be charged twice, and you don’t need to do anything.
You’ll notice a new My Account page where you can manage billing, update payment methods, and view invoices — all self-service.
- If you're a paid member (PayPal):
Your access continues until your current subscription ends. Before then, please switch to our new billing system (powered by Stripe) to maintain access.
You’ll find everything you need on your My Account page.
We’re making this change because PayPal doesn’t support the flexible à la carte model — Stripe gives a much better experience for everyone.
