• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

"The difference between false memories and true ones is the same as for jewels: it is always the false ones that look the most real, the most brilliant."

Salvador Dali

I love this quote. In Spanish it goes:

La diferencia entre los recuerdos falsos y los verdaderos es la misma que para las joyas: siempre son los falsos los que parecen más reales, más brillantes.

And Dalí was nothing if not a trickster, so one might better translate brillante as shiny, for its more childlike quality. And (perhaps stretching a little) reales can also mean royal. These ajustments, along with  parecen as appear, would give us:

it is always the false ones that appear most royal, most shiny

Which I think, for what it's worth, is more Dalí-esque. 🌝🐧
