• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Techniques to overcome procrastination

I'm not a procrastinator with my writing. I'd MUCH rather write than house-clean, do accounts, reason being those things are boring. So, for me, timetabling and deadlines are the only things to tear me away from my writing desk and get those things done. Even walking around the house for 5 minutes soon after walking around the house for 5 minutes would be more fun.

(You lift an eye-brow and ask, are you not procrastinating on your writing by watching this? Answer: no. I'm winding down having written 3000 words today). And it's after 9 pm so it's winding down time. :wine-glass: )
