Hi Pete,

Thanks for replying. Yes, I have. There is a link for self-published, celebs and previously published but not for first time authors. I am a (free) member of Litopia but I can't find any link to the submission guidelines. Redhammer is on query tracker but the form doesn't open. I am fully open to the possibility that I am being dopey and have just missed it.

OK, good.
We've found that the success rate from first timers is so low that the best advice we can offer is to come to Litopia and develop your work here, particularly in the Lab.
After a few iterations there I'd be happy to take a look.
