• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

We've previously discussed audiobooks in several threads, but this story might give a debut author pause for thought about how far they'd go to get attention for their work by publishing it in as many forms as possible.

Getting a famous actor to read a novel helps sales, but many audiobooks are published that have narration by men who are infamous. One such is incarcerated serial killer Ed Kemper who narrated thousands of audiobooks, helped by fellow inmates.

The Voice Behind Many Bestselling Books On Tape Is Actually That of An Infamous Serial Killer

Kemper is a striking example of a serial killer, not only for the depravity of his crimes but also his physical size and high intelligence. He's also entered popular culture in an insidious way, through fictional book characters and song lyrics, in the same way as Charles Manson, Ed Gein and Ted Bundy.

I guess that the main factor involved in choosing a narrator for your story is the quality of their speaking voice, but this is a strange form of rehabilitation.

Can good come out of evil?
