Proverb for the new year

I saw this (on a Swiss site, so I'm translating). Good advice for life and of course it can be applied to all of our writerly endeavours and dreams as well. Good Karma and all that.

Blow wind under other's wings and you too shall one day fly,
But suck the wind from their feathers and in the sand you shall forever lie.

Here is to a supportive new year. May we raise each other up so we can all fly.
