• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Hi everyone,

I need to get some views of a book I am trying to sell and have posted the first couple of chapters in the Workshop to try to get some discussion going. Click Here!

Cheers

I have absolutely no idea how to do that
When you type a post, your text box will have a banner. Look for the 'insert link' button (looks a bit like a chain link). Click on it. You get a box pop up with two fields where you can type in. The top field says 'URL' paste the 'site address' / link in there, i.e. the http of your workshop thread. The second field says 'text'. Put any words you like in there, i.e. 'here'. Then click insert. The finish your post as normal.

Am I making sense? (I'm having one of those linguistically challenged days.)

Barbara, I am the original techno peasant and you could not have been clearer or more helpful. Many thanks
