• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Hi,

Thank you for the welcome. At the moment I am studying Creative Writing & Psychology with the OU - feels like I've been doing it forever. So I find myself writing a lot of short stories (some of which I actually finish) and am working on a 30 minute film script at the moment about a rooky chef working for some odd folk at a house in Scotland. Busy busy times but you've got to keep at it, haven't you! :)

Welcome :) - sounds like you've got quite a bit on your plate there. Keep up the good work!

Hello Haphazard; Now that you've made the border crossing, I think you will enjoy Litopia.

Welcome to the colony. Look forward to hearing more about you and your writing ;)
