• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

I far prefer long novels in the larger 6 x 9 size but even though that takes away depth bulk, it is still weighty so I totally see what you're getting at on the big book thing. Hubby has arthritis in his hands, and even novellas are at times tricky for him to hold. Thank goodness for the Kindle voyage, that's all I can say.

If it gets too much I hurl them to the floor. Teach them a lesson. I don't wanna buy words by the bushel. I have to pick them up of course, later. Or else use them to build a hotel with, or something.
