Hello @SarahC, it's the first time I've known of your existence on Litopia. Welcome. Why not join us in one of our Saturday Huddles and we can get to know you better on a face to face basis- in real flesh and blood. ;)
 

Found this on the old procrastination station (internet), thought it was worth a share.
I went for it last year – and got absolutely nowhere.
I got the idea from the list of those they accepted that they had a particular author profile in mind, and it didn't fit me.
But that may be sour grapes.

I think that's the case with this kind of thing. The agents are still looking for something that'll fit their wish list. No matter how good your piece of work is, if you're not one of those you won't get anywhere.
