Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.
This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.
Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…
We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

Yay!! I've read and I loved it! Looking forward to following this journey! WOOT!!After 10,000 words of talking to the mc, it finally has a voice. I shall now set it loose on the plot.
If anyone is interested in following this messy journey, you can find it here.
(Brace yourself, it'll be raw.)
Wow!!! Thank you so much! I really appreciate the supportYay!! I've read and I loved it! Looking forward to following this journey! WOOT!!
Sometimes the happiness of getting words down comes a while after they're written.
Are you sure your marked for death char is meant to die? They seem pretty hearty.Big writing day today. 2.2k done. My marked for death character is still alive. In all fairness, I've got a few more POVs to write before I get back to (what I hope will be) their final scene.
I don't think it's the dates that define LiNoWriMo as much as the spirit. I love that the spirit continues with us.Down 4K with 4 more to go. Have officially one more day for this challenge, but I have the next 4 days off work so I might spill into August but I will finish this before Monday! Oh yeah.
Well done, all you people able to figure out trackbear! I mean, to me, that by itself is an accomplishment!Okay we're down to the final hours (or if you're in my neck of the woods it's well past the final hours, but I'll give you some leeway).
I'm absolutely thrilled to see so many people finishing off or making major headway on their projects! Well done everyone! Even if you didn't reach your goal, I operate on the principle that any words are better than none.
My final update for the July LiNoWriMo:
Monthly total: 20,234
WIP total: 211,920
Marked for death characters successfully shuffled off: 0
