• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

As an ex-librarian and avid reader, I like this story.

Libraries in Wichita are issuing readers with a receipt stating how much money they've saved by borrowing the books, instead of buying them.

Public library receipt shows how much money you saved by borrowing instead of buying books

I visit my nearest public library in Saint Columb Major every week, borrowing 365 books annually, so I think I rival the highest dollar mount saved by a Wichita library user of $64,734.12.
