Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.
This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.
Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…
We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

I loved her blog. Reading her responses to queries was such a combination of sometimes hilarity as well as learning and great advice. She wasn't as actively blogging in recent years, though her archives were all up and she did occasional new critiques, but it was worth checking out her older posts (hopefully the archived post site will remain up).Anyone following American writing blogs long enough will have heard of Queryshark. She was one of the first agent bloggers I read. Wise and pithy, and always useful.
