• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

The price of a new Full Membership will be increasing soon*. However, if you upgrade now to a yearly Full Membership, you will continue to pay the old price for as long as the subscription remains in force.

This locks in the current yearly price – $99.95 or about £76 – effectively for ever (as long as your subscription doesn't lapse).

How To Do It…

Simply go to your Account Portal and click on the “Subscriptions” item:

Then click on the three little dots on the right hand side of your current subscription and choose "Change Plan":

Select “Full Member – Yearly” and proceed to payment.

Now you’ve locked in the price :)

If you're currently on a Monthly or Quarterly plan, your plan will also continue as at present, at the same price, as long as the subscription does not lapse. However, Monthly and Quarterly plans will no longer be available to purchase on the front end.

Any questions, let me know here.

* - price rise will be in the order of 45%, so it’s well worth locking in now.

What about those of us who pay annually via PayPal? Are we already locked in to the old price, or do we have to pay next year's subscription to do that, even if there are some months still left to run on it?
