• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Hello,
My name is Emily Walker and I've been in this self-publishing game for almost 7 years now. I also freelance as a ghostwriter which has helped me develop my storytelling, outlining, and writing speed tremendously. I don't make a lot of sales, I'm looking at getting better at that by laser focusing my writing on sci-fi and horror, which is what I love. I'm happy to be here and look forward to learning and interacting with you guys. :)

Welcome Emily. I write crime fiction which in many ways has horror elements to it - but that is a discussion for another day. Great to see you here and good luck with your work.
