• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Hi @CarolB

Lovely to have you both here.

This is a good place to check out (How-to guide) to see a lot of what goes on in the colony.

If anything is unclear just give me a shout and I’ll be happy to assist.

OH I'm so excited to see you on Litopia. I'm fascinated by how your partnership works. My husband is my nuts and bolts editor but thinks even my shirty first drafts are golden. Gotta love him.
Happy Valley was really interesting to me because my dad was one of two police in our small Kansas town. Therefore he was assistant chief of police and the other guy was chief. The guy before him was a WW I vet who'd fought in France and still carried his military pistol.
