Hello Josephine,
I am still experimenting with genres at the moment in terms of writing. Before I started the MA I dabbled with fantasy and romance, but over the last year (with assignments) I have tried more short-stories and literary fiction. Thrillers are my go-to books in terms of reading, but I also enjoy fantasy and the occasional romance. What genres do you read / write in?

Hi Wendy, and welcome – good to see you here. Well done on completing your MA. Check out the Workshops if you'd like some feedback on your work. And don't be shy about offering your own critiques of others' work. As many members will testify, we learn a lot from critiquing others' work, too.

You can always submit the first 700 words of your own work to Pop-Ups if you'd like some advice on the beginning. That's on YouTube, every Sunday evenings (6pm UK time). You'd pay a lot of money for the editorial advice our guests give for free – and it's great fun.
