Hello all,

I'm Mitchell, 42. Originally from the Midlands but now live in East Anglia with my wife and two kids.

I've just finished a young adult fantasy adventure manuscript, little bit Alice in Wonderland, little bit Hitchhikers Guide, little bit Labyrinth (film) and just starting the querying process . Just looking for feedback and connect with folks in the same boat .

I've sent a few queries out but zero joy so far, obviously we all know getting an agent and published is a massive long-shot but the rejections are a bit of a bummer. Would be great to get a feel if my query package/ms needs more work or whether I just need to keep querying!

I like the sound of your book as it has influences I enjoy a lot. It's great too you're intending to give feedback on the work of others. Feedback is a two-way street for sure and giving it to others really helps with our own work in a really positive way.
