• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Hello Peter, Richard, Brian, Marvel and others whose names I have not recognized or did not know from before. I was patriciajd and am now Patricia D, essentially the same person. The old Litopia helped me immensely with writing and I'm hoping that will continue. The new emphasis on building a platform is intriguing. Lord knows I need help there.

Welcome Patricia. What are you working on at the moment?

How nice to see more old friends. Here's what I'm up to. Number one is working at getting back to writing after a cross-country move and before that, a couple months off the grid unless I went into town to an Internet cafe. Rejoining Litopia is part of this effort. My second book - Secrets, Lies and Homicide, a sequel to A Perfect Victim - was published Sept 12, and I barely acknowledged it but will make more of a fuss soon. I'm working on Book3 and then plan to go in another direction. What is everyone else doing?
