• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

    • Don't give offence
    • Don't take offence

We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

It certainly seems that Thumper's rules are being applied ('If you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all').
Lovely welcome from so many people. Thanks!
I only joined myself a few weeks ago. I was amazed at the warmth of the welcome. And I highly recommend the critique section -- there are some talented people here ready to lend a hand.

Hello...:)

Thumper had it right. A) Encouraging b) Nice C) Useful or at least potentially use-able or D) keep it zipped. No trolls in residence here. Mustn't tempt fate *performs hexing gesture* but at the moment, not a one.
