It's Monday morning, and the Guardian have a helpful piece outlining everything I seem to be doing wrong grammatically in my WIP. But it's quite informative.

It is a constant battle for me, I know the imagination is ticking over at 110%, but the technical application always lets me down.

It's not really a grammar error, but I look at a lot of student/postgrad writing, and the most common error is to start a sentence with something like 'This' or 'It' when referring to something about four nouns back in the previous sentence, so it's not clear what it is that the writer means.
