Thank you - that's very handy to share with my students as they head into their first exams tomorrow/Tuesdayo_O
 
It's not really a grammar error, but I look at a lot of student/postgrad writing, and the most common error is to start a sentence with something like 'This' or 'It' when referring to something about four nouns back in the previous sentence, so it's not clear what it is that the writer means.
