Good text-to-speech services?

I am currently using the paid version of getwoord.com for text-to-speech and it is ok. I think it may simply be an interface to an amazon service.

But I wonder if anybody had any other services they would recommend. As far as I know, the AI-based text-to-speech tools used on Spotify and Google can only be used when you publish audiobooks on those sites.

Just to make it clear, I'm not looking to create an audiobook, but I'm using it while I edit/revise.
