• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Why is old synonymous with deterioration?
Why isn't is associated with the reality that old=wisdom/experience/accumulated knowledge?
I think he's saying that, but to deny that not being as nimble or energetic is part of aging is o not to do justice to the process. An old horse trainer said he didnt really learn to get thru to horses until he had to slow down and not do it the hard way anymore. He didn't bounce like he used to. I think that exactly the describes the process of wisdom over hard knuckling it.
