• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Searching the audible 2 for 1 sale had me appalled at the lack of original ideas out there. Probably 2/3rds of the books were series and those series were basically fan fiction for other series. Which led me to trailers of movies coming up. Same thing. The English-speaking world seems stuck in a rut. Is it because readers dont want new? ~Or because the risk of new is off-putting to those who need a certain return to make their bosses happy?

But I did find these two trailers which seemed to promise a journey and destination off the beaten path.
