• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

What a great idea! Are any of you giving books as Christmas presents, and do you expect to receive any? If so, what titles?

I may splurge on buying myself a copy of Tom Neale's An Island to Oneself, which is sold online for around £30 these days. I've owned several copies in the past, but it's one of those books that when you lend it out never returns to you!
