• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Sorry I spelt her name wrong in the thread title. I corrected it in the post but unfortunately didn't realise her spelling is slightly different to the English one. It should read Laure. She is of French origin which explains the spelling discrepancy.

I love the trippy cuts in this video, and would enjoy my book going up for auction. Let's plan on doing that!

HAHAHA... extreme egomania mixed with extreme self-doubt:
"of course you would want to pay a f*ck-ton of money for my genius — wait! Why the sh*t does anyone want to pay money for this?!"

She explains that the self-doubt aspect is necessary, so you don't become a massive d*ck.

Luckily, I have written the Most Spectacular Book Ever. So this should be cool.

I can only reply to this with the poem, Dilemma by David Budbill:

I want to be
famous
so I can be
humble
about being
famous.

What good is my
humility
when I am
stuck
in this
obscurity?
