• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

I've been looking into digital publishers and came across this. It seems to be an expanding side of the business. If you want to earn money this may be a better route than trad publishing.
@Paul Whybrow this may be of particular interest to you.

Thanks for this, Steve. I've been following the advice of Mark Dawson for a while, but missed this podcast with Jasper Joffe. Being an Indie, a self-publisher, has its joys, but there's a lot to do as a one-man band!

I'd never contemplate doing it all myself - nightmare! But companies like this may well prove to be the future of publishing in some genres. Their ability to provide physical books on demand is interesting and may prove a winner in the future. Technology no longer demands large expensive print runs.
