• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

I've been compiling a list of UK agencies to submit to and thought it might save members some time if I posted the fruits of my labour here. I started with QueryTracker | Find literary agents and publishers with our free database but later found there were numerous others they didn't cover. From 45 potential targets for my query, I managed to add almost another fifty. These are agencies, not agents so each link may have multiple agents working there. I found working from a list of agents did my head in as I had to double-check I didn't end up querying two from the same agency.
Unfortunately, I didn't include agencies that were not interested in thrillers/suspense and specialised in different genres like kids books or non-fiction but there weren't many of those.
If anyone has other agencies they know of please add them so we can build on this lot.
Good Luck with your Queries
