I am in the hot zone. (one of them). In the hosp of Treviso there were at least 20 people in intensive care, 70+ in isolation at home.
We OAP have been told to stay in-doors at all costs. But I still go and teach English at a local firm, however, the table that separates me from the managers is at least one metre wide... we laugh when I say, hands down, you can't kiss me anymore!
Actually Pete, that was a silly question to ask you, but I didn't know you were so central in London. I remember when I was teaching in Clapham Common, there was no way I went by car either, but I preferred the underground. I loved the way you went down one tunnel and came up in a completely different one... just like a mole.
Stay safe, Eva. One thing I am doing is carrying a small bottle of hand sanitizer. Use it after the gym, public transport etc. Can you buy any locally?
Oh yes, we have all kinds of anti-bacterial, gels, washes, soaps. I would imagine Italian chemists are the most well stocked with a diversity of drugs that is unbeatable by a long range mainly because it is hard to find a population with so many health problems as there are here. You would think Italy is the only country after Egypt to have been inflIcted with the 10 plagues from the Old Testament.
You should try living in the provinces, @AgentPete. If anybody remotely ethnic looking gets on the bus, wearing a backpack, most of the other passengers get off.
I used to live in Norfolk. "Foreigner" meant someone from Suffolk...
