I'm looking for books to read that have good examples of Father/daughter relationships, moral dilemmas; the boundaries between doing the right thing and doing the legal thing (not always the same).
Stories that look at the parental dilemma when they find their child is guilty of a crime, and/or stories which discuss whether illegal actions are justified in the face of a serious existential threat.
All suggestions are welcome. Thank you in advance.

These are exactly the themes I was writing about though. You're welcome to read it. I am still - and always will be- working on it. I'd be interested in your view of course. But no I cant think of any other books that speficially addresses these themes with a father daughter dynamic. If yu are looking for comps...Cant think of any in any genre. Which is interesting. Auston's books generally feature a father-daughter relationship because the mother is awful. I suppose Pride and Prejudice?
