• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

    • Don't give offence
    • Don't take offence

We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

Many apologies (not the least to the authors) for the lack of live scoreboard on today’s Pop-Ups. This was caused by… deep breath… a plugin that controls communications between our website (where scores are entered) and Google Sheets (where scores are calculated). It decided to update itself automatically. This led Google to refuse authentication to the new item of software. There was no notification that this had happened… they just stopped talking to each other.

However, we fortunately keep a local copy of all scores that are entered, so it’s not been too difficult to manually feed the data into the system, with the following results. A tightly-contested show… many congratulations Adam Rhodes!
