• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Hi there!
I just did a full-on hour-long lecture about sitcoms as American history for Kirtland Community College (Grayling, MI) and Eastern New Mexico University (Roswell, NM). Also, you WILL see me singing in this. Here is the link to it if you would like to know more. It will expire in thirty days, though:

I've never had that much fun doing anything sober in my life. Great line

This is very entertaining Jason.

Interesting too how the shows mirror the society of their time. The 'wee woman' syndrome whose job it was to be obedient, pretty and certainly not to have an opinion of their own.

Thankfully, the world is moving on, though still has a way to go.

This clip from Harry Enfield captures it perfectly on this side of the pond.
