Simeon the Simian? Superb! I'll keep an eye out for him. For flying fingers I like aliens and artificial entities, intelligent or otherwise. Humans are still more of slog.

I tend to just keep, and so see them as drafts, previous versions when I’ve made major changes that fundamentally change the narrative, characterisation, etc.
