Thank you for posting this and starting this discussion. I'm not sure where you got these from but to me they sound almost like they were written by AI -- like cheesy stock descriptions with a modifier that is very telly. Why describe only to... -

The great thing about reading is that it inspires our own imagination. It doesn't matter that our image of the person is not exactly the same as the author's image as long as it fits the story, so we never have to describe everything about them... -

So I wouldn't say what color hair they had, or if they are thin or overweight. Just a few broad strokes.
