I’m not happy about the tone of some of the postings in the Flash Club recently. While I will be picking this up with the people concerned, I think I must say right here, in public, that if anyone finds it too challenging to remain respectful and considerate towards other members, while perhaps substantially disagreeing with them, then (a) they are far from being an accomplished wordsmith; and (b) they really should consider finding somewhere else to hang out.
I’m also deeply concerned that Alistair’s instructions to step back and take a little time out were not respected – simply not acceptable.
Please, everyone, think carefully before you post, particularly if your words are likely to cause distress to other members. That’s not at all what we’re about – as you should know by now.
