• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Plot: Big money artists and mega-collectors pay a high price when art collides with commerce. After a series of paintings by an unknown artist are discovered, a supernatural force enacts revenge on those who have allowed their greed to get in the way of art.

Who owns art?

That's the central question of this creepy arty supernatural snuff movie. The vengeful dead artist made me think of Marc's recent posting about Henry Darger, and this connection is referenced in a review.

I like spooky movies, not snuff movies. I am interested in art. Used to work in museums, didn't I ? I must say I felt sorry for the people. Some were obnoxious but not nearly enough to deserve what they got. I rather liked Rhodora. Was I not meant to?

Though nor had the deceased artist deserved the life he had got.

Quirky, comic book, good cast.
