I’m SO sorry, but we have to cancel today’s Pop-Ups, at very late notice ☹
I will post an announcement on YouTube in a moment. We will try to re-schedule at our guest’s convenience.
The reason is technical. We use NDI extensively on the internal network to send various signals relating to the Genius Room backwards and forwards before they enter the live stream. Suddenly, a few hours ago, we completely lost the ability to do this.
Obviously, the Genius Room is a large component of the show, and without their input it simply wouldn’t be Pop-Ups.
I don’t know what the cause is at the moment, but I’ve been hard at work on it for the last few hours without an obvious solution. If necessary, I’ll put something else in place before next Sunday’s show.
We’ve only had to cancel once or twice in the last three years, so this is very disappointing for me. Again, I’m SO sorry – please do accept my deepest apologies.
