• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

@AgentPete , So if someone wanted to add a cover to a thread, how exactly would you do that? (Asking for a friend).

My friend said when they went to post a thread (not a random, pointless one or anything; one of great writerly merit) she wasn't sure where the Covers bit was... (she's obvs not the brightest).

May I volunteer a how to? But your friend may prefer to wait for the Grand Master Of All Things Cover Picture Related.

Tell your friend to start a thread, write lots about cake (tell her to tag myself - I wish to know all about cake), then click post. Your friend should then have a 'cover' button on her posted thread. She needs to click on that. Tell your friend I haven't tried this myself, and that it might in fact turn on her oven remotely.
